no, LOL.. its not that kind of raffle... theres no spam involved no marketing.. its a product.. you buy a slot.. you pay with paypal.. they record video of useing random.org to pick slot number.. and you can win a product for a fraction of the cost.. check it out.. pretty sure the people running it are members of this forum or overland journal.

well, maybe you know more about the definition of marketing then I do, but I suggest for your benefit you at least LOOK at the page read the description and rules and decide after that.

Its a game, people from this forum are winning items that are requested to be played for. sure its a form of gambling with much better odds then any casino and there is always a winner. I haven't even won anything personally yet and im posting it on here.

two ARB camping chairs.

13 slots. 10 dollars buy a slot. 1 in 13 chance you win two arb camping chairs. can you lose your 10 dollars? sure, but not many games have odds like that. I guess the 1700 people actively playing in this group are being misled?

I'm not saying anyone's being misled but they are gathering info on people interested in the products - i.e. Marketing.

As someone that is familiar with what goes on in in these I'll just say the following:

1) It's basically gambling

2) Several proven instances of "rigged" raffles

3) The legality of all of these groups/practice is highly questionable

4) Usually someone trying to take advantage and mark up prices or even drop ship items meaning they don't even have it in hand.

LOL. geez tough crowd here.. I didnt expect to get negative feedback posting about this.

pretty sure if you have 1 of 13 slots.. that's a 1 in 13 chance. the 1700 or so people are the ones in the group, they do not change your odds at all on the individual game. If you don't have a slot you didn't play. But if you just looked at the page you would know that.

I honestly gain nothing by telling about game, so I dont really have much desire to defend it. I still suggest you look at the Facebook page for yourself, you gain or lose nothing by not playing. Literally nothing. you can lurk there and watch people win and lose and decide for yourself whats going on.

and if your not on facebook then disregard this thread completely, it doesnt matter lol
