Toyota is out of Calipers

I replaced my 07 calipers, rotors, and pads over the weekend.

I wanted to see how much OEM parts prices were so I called the local dealer. He said they were having a huge problem getting parts in but he would check. He started with the calipers and said there were 3 sets of front and rear on the west coast - the 3 sets were all that were left in the entire country. He said they would be sold in the next couple of seconds and they have no estimate when they would get more back in stock.

Autozone did not have all the parts, neither did Advanced Auto parts.

Napa had everything in their ultra premium line and the total set cost about 750 bucks. The calipers came with a nice quality black paint job on them. Everything looked legit and the brakes now work awesome.

Just a heads up that with all the supply chain issues if you have any work to do on your 4runner or other car you should probably buy the parts now.

FWIW....
Need a power steering pump for my LC100, ordered through oriellys and it was the last one in their entire national inventory....shipping al the way from CA.

also ordered a OE reman alternator for the same LC from local dealer...no issues there.

replaced my rears this summer. i used toyota reman calipers. are you talking reman or non?

Probably too late for you now, but consider upgrading your 4th gen calipers and rotors to 5th gen units. They bolt right in with no mods needed. They're a slightly better design that's less prone to seizing and the rotors are thicker so less prone to warping. And they're in stock almost everywhere....
