Road surfaces also have something to do with intermittent shake.
 
Disclaimer: I did not read the whole thread. I have 2010 4runner and 2017 Camry. Had 2016 Camry with power steering issue Toyota determined was due to issue with seat heater ... go figure. Long story short, they gave me brand new 2017 Camry in exchange for the 16. No out of pocket expense
as they paid tax title license. Totally stood behind the issue. I had a loaner foe 4 months while this played out but in the end I was more than whole as 16 had 15000 miles.

I don't think he understands how wide the range is on the severity of the steering wheel shake.

I've had steering wheel shake that I can stop simply by holding on the steering (stock Dunlops).

Then I've had violent steering shake that would make my hands look like I have Parkinson's when I held the steering wheel. (GY Ultraterrains with too much road force).

Thanks, the southeastern US is extremely lucky we didn’t get pounded like the poor Bahamas did. :(

Color preference would be Cement or Army Green, but we know it can’t be either of those!

We ain't quite out of the woods yet and coastal areas could get hammered pretty badly over the next couple of day. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
