Yes it is for the most part I had ordered this one thinking it would work with mine but mine has the JBL so my loss your gain. It is plug and play other then connecting the vss wire to the pin on the back and a GPS antenna. Which to me was an easy install and I'm no electrician. I can send you pix if your really interested it is basically new unit!

I'm confused. this has the JBL logo right on the from of it, and in another thread someone could not get a 7003 to work with a non-JBL system. he said the plugs didn't match

Why does it say JBL on it if its for NON-JBL? very confused.

Once that is answered, does it have bluetooth?
