my wife and I both got this email but it wasn't tagged as an Olympic Celebration thing, just a Toyota Lottery. Guess the "Olympic" touch was a recent scam update to keep the scam current.

The e-mail addresses ending in ".cn" should be a tip-off, too. Why would Toyota not just use their own Japanese addresses?

Ya, what exactly is ".cn" anyways?? Rediculous...

probably "china", and if the real japan toyota website, it should be "toyota.jp"
and i went to china toyota website, it showed "toyota.cn"

so it gotta be some type of scam.

It is the domain for China.

The convention is that the URL has the country as the last part of the address. So Japan is ".jp" and China is ".cn" There are a few exceptions, such as ".com", ".net", ".org", etc.
