Toyota Only Magazine starting up

I saw this thread over on Yotatech. There is a new Toyota only magazine starting up. Here's his post . . .

Hello to everyone on YotaTech from 4WD Toyota Owner magazine!

Wanted to introduce myself and the magazine. We are an independent publication, not tied to Toyota, but we will be working with them often, of course. We are NOT a corporate monster looking to kill Trails. There's definitely room for both--I respect Trails very much! Unfortunately, 4WD Toyota Owner won't cover the Echo--unless someone converts one to four wheel drive!

4WD Toyota Owner will cover all 4x4 Toyota models. It won't have "This product was easy and great and wow you should buy one!" articles. The Toyota audience is at least as savvy and probably more so than the big Primedia/Petersen mags realize.

I'll be covering the TakeOver in Paragon, PA this year for the premiere issue, so I hope to see you there and get personal feedback.

Their homepage looks little unprofessional, but again it's new. I don't think the rag will make in production based on what I see on their web site. Good luck though.

Hello from 4WD Toyota Owner magazine!

First, some updates on the magazine and the website. The
www.4wdtoyotaowner.com site will soon be updated from the existing simple,
introductory page to a somewhat larger page.

New will be a link for the events that we will be covering, and full
contact info for those events. Please check in and sign up for a Toyota
4x4 vehicle event in your area. All are a total blast. We'll be at many
throughout 2005 and into 2006.

The first I'll tell you about now since it is very soon: the Tin
Benders Toyota Jamboree out at Johnson Valley, California, aka the Hammers
region, from April 22-24. The Hammers is where the posers are trampled
on, discounted and left for dead. The event is being organized by the Tin
Benders. For full info go to their site, www.tinbenders.org.

I'll be wearing a "Got Cruiser?" shirt from the good folks at
www.cruiserland.com so I will be easy to identify. Feel free to introduce
yourself and your rig so I can shoot it for the magazine. The Toyota Jamboree
will go in Issue One.

One event I don't think we can attend is the Cruise Moab event, May
4-8, put on by the Rising Sun 4 Wheel Drive Club of Colorado. The
www.risingsun4x4club.org site says the event is full, but if anyone is
attending and can send me high-resolution digital photos (1200x1600 MINIMUM) of
the action, I'll get the event the coverage it deserves and you a photo
and even writers credit. Email me for more details.

What about subscriptions? We've gotten a huge response from the email
list and full subscription info will be posted in a few days as I'm
waiting on a few giveaway items to arrive. For now, here's just a few of
the items that subscribers will be eligible for in giveaways. Some lucky
subscribers will win: a brand-new Optima Yellow Top battery, a Moose
Racing Expedition jacket, CamelBak hydro-packs, Toyota 4x4 repair
manuals, 4x4 parts gift certificates, and still more. Subscriptions will be
