I know that a much bigger sore spot for Sienna owners is the corrosion of the cables used to control the rear side sliding doors. Just like the spare tire cable is corroding, the cables inside the door tracks have the same problem. While it's not as big a safety issue as a spare tire falling off the car in front of you, it's an annoying problem that's expensive to fix. Again, it's another example of how Toyota is not making vehicles in the last several years that live up to Toyota's past quality standards.
