Toyota Runaway? Another early 4Runner concept?

Found this on my local Craigslist... It looks like the early 4Runner concepts, like the Trekker, but the cab looks to be the 90's Toyota design.

It partly looks like a 90s pickup, with the cab cut open at the back, and a 1st gen 4Runner top on it.

What do you guys think?

Well, it cant be an early concept..because thats a 89-93 cab...

You should go look at it and get some better pics.

I don't see anything cool or unique about that truck. It's a 3rd gen toyota truck with a 1st gen 4runner top on it. Maybe he cut the back of the cab and made it an open cabin but I honestly don't see anything special about it. :shrug:

I understand not seeing anything "cool" about it... I think it's kind of ugly myself. But it surely fits the definition of "unique".

Supposedly it was purchased new from the dealer like that.

I think its pretty cool. The description dose say the back of the cab is a walk through to another set of seats.

Does no one else see the beauty of the 2wd? The front of the frames are higher than the 4wd allowing for a lower stance/ more up travel when you put a solid axle there.

Anyone who has wanted a 2nd gen runner with a removable top (kid v?) here it is.
