I bought my 4runner back in 04 and have since been very happy with it, so much so that my Mom decided she wanted one. About a year after I got mine she sold her audi TT and bought a white 05 Limited V6. My Dad was still driving his 2000 blazer and started to hate it compared to the runner, so about a month ago he bought a Shadow mica 08 Sport V8. Then my sister decided her 98 audi A6 was on its last legsand didnt want to spend $$ on repairs. So following suit she bought a silver 07 Limited V6 about 2 weeks ago. Now the men both have V8 sports, and the women both have V6 Limiteds.
When my parents were looking for my moms my dad asked if he cared that they copied the car I had. I said of course I dont mind, BUY ONE...but i never had any idea it would go this far. Thats everyone in my family now driving a 4runner because they all liked mine and knew it was a good buy. At least we all have different colors and even managed to all have different rims on them. The rumor is now that my brother in laws parents might get one as well.
Now to the topic of the post, the way I see it is toyota should cut me a check for selling them all cars, its not like the dumbass salesman had anything to do with it.
