toyota skid plate not strong!

went wheeling the other day, and with no lift and some rocks, things happen.

OUCH!! Was that caused by a few rocks?? I thought the 86 4Runners were strong as anything. I could just imagine what would happen to my 03's skidplate if yours came out looking like that!!! :lmao:

even with 4" of lift, if anything hits the '03 skid plates, they get trashed. mine is all mangled! Good Times is running downey's plate - it has to be stronger!

86, sorry you got that dent, but at least it looks like you've been having fun.

fun i have had! i love this truck to much not to go use and abuse it! it does great even being ifs! that is my gas tank yes, and u should have seen where i was to get that dent. people said u needed to be locked front and rear to get back there! they must not have been in a toyota before! im gonna pull it off and make it stringer here pretty quick. i appreciate the kind words about my truck, makes me happy. everyone go out and wheel and enjoy it while u can!

Blah...it looks like your skid plate worked perfectly to me since there's no hole in your gas tank.

Just take it off and give it a few good wacks with a sledge hammer and it's good as new.
