Toyota pushing back Corolla redesign is odd. I guess that the new Civic and Mazda 3's overwhelming success caught Toyota off guard.

I really like my Corolla. It's excellent for my needs. And i just installed a really nice sounding aftermarket stereo system.

Is it possible that the Yaris also pushed it back? Saw one the other day and it was much nicer than I expected.

Yaris is really an Echo replacement...it is still a bit smaller than Corolla. Toyota is really confusing these days...you have Scion who in making cheap cars for young people...and then now you have Toyota making a model even cheaper than Scion! They are becoming like GM in some sense...making different models within same price class to appeal to different people.
