I tried to ask this some time ago and really no responses.

I want an 8 " or atleast a different offset to bring the tires out. The split 5 spoke from the Tundra / Sequoia look ok but I hate the silver ones ( to blah looking ) The gunmetal look much better , but dont know how it would look with Galactic gray.

Are there any other factory rims to look at ??? Any FJ wheels that are 17" , what are some options ?

What about those special Tundra wheels that came on the Ivan S. edition , would they fit ? what size are they.

The Tundra/Sequoia wheels have the same offset as your 4Runner wheels. They will not fill out any better at all.

The FJ wheels do have a different offset and will definitely bring the tires out a bit. One thing I always hated about the 2006 and 2007 4Runner is the way the fender flares bulge out on the sides and make the wheels look like they are too far in. I hate that look.

If I were you, I would look into getting Spidertrax wheels spacers, probably 1.25 in set up. That would fill out the wheel wells nicely.

You only other real option is to go with an aftermarket rim with a much better offset. The FJ rims probably will not make you happy because the offset just isnt that much of a difference to fill out your wheel wells.

The Tundra/Sequoia rims have a lower (numerical) offset than the 4r rims (15mm vs 25mm), which means they'll "stick out" 10mm when compared to the OE rims.

The aforementioned Spidertrax are a great option if you like the look of your present wheels. Spidertrax are the only spacers i can recommend because they are the only ones (that I know of) with the center lip(hub-centric). They are only 1.25" but they make a huge difference in the appearance of the truck. My TRD rims have a better offset/backspacing than stock but they're expensive and 18's so you'd have to get tires too.

You are incorrect about the Tundra wheels , and the FJ wheels which I would love all have 16".

You can see em here. I believe the offset is 20mm but not sure. You can get the part# and call a dealer for more info. They make for a significantly more aggressive stance than stock ...comparable to stock with spacers in appearance. This is not the cheapest place now to get them but you get the idea.

I know they are the same with rim , but backspace/offset a different . A few guys have them on their truck and it pull the wheel out a little , but does make a visual difference.

See if something turns up on a search for Tundra or Sequoia wheels .
