Toytec 1" Body lift bolts

Trying to figure out if I did this wrong when I installed my body lift like... 2.5 years ago. Truck is nearly impossible to control on bumps (washboard roads it's insane) and before I point a finger at steering rack I figured I'd investigate the obvious.

This body mount in the middle of the truck has always seemed odd since it doesn't make contact. Possibly the last mount (rear) too. There's no more thread left on the bolts because it turns in to an unthreaded section, so I can't tighten anything up further

So... did I possibly use the wrong bolt (too long) in the incorrect spot, or misplace a piece years ago?

looks normal to me, as in mine looks the same way.

I don't have a body lift installed and my middle body mount looks the same.

Same here. The earlier 3rd gens don't even have that middle mount, and on my 99 it looked 'wrong' before I did the body lift, still looks the same afterward.

I think instead of supporting weight, it's just there to stop the body from flexing upward in some sort of *extreme* collision.
