toytec 3/4" front lift

Okay, I am one of those that is looking to level my runner. I would really like about 1.5 inches of lift in the front. From reading all the threads here it seems like basically you double the about of material in the spacer and you get that amount of lift. So my question would be has anyone had experience with this 3/4" toytec lift? product code TOP1-T .. Is it 3/4" material or are they saying it will actually only lift it 3/4". The website says 'Provides approximately

Does the 1 1/2 inches of lift means adding the 1/2" thick spacer and at the same time changing the coil with OME 833??

..or just the coil alone will give you 1 1/2" inches of lift and no need to add that spacer?

From the sounds of it, I am pretty sure just the coils alone would add 1 1/2".
 
i have a .75 thick front spacer kit for sale.......installing my new 3/2 kit tommorrow.



I got a 1.5" front lift! It was perfect.

$80 bucks and its yours!

What brand is it? How old?
 
I think Toytec is incorrect. Many have done 1/2 spacer and it yields 1" of lift.

Get the one TRD has for sale it should give you exactly what you want.

I got this kit from Even Steven NEW. He bought several from Jason Burtman. They are custom level kits from Cornfed/Jason. I love it! No noise...no driving changes nothing just more sexiness to your rig. I like the aluminum look too because you can see it if you are in a car next to the t4r. I think the heighth is perfect not to high and not to low.

All my freinds who look at my t4r say "dang dude" yours looks way better than any other 4runner I see. I don't tell them about spacer first either.

AJC...I bet you will want a bigger lift within 6 months of install though.......hopefully I get them off today.

The Toytec leveling spacer is a "topout" spacer which should yeild the true dimension of the spacer. When a spacer is compressed within the coil pack that is when you get the spacer eqauls 2x the thickness.

We have been thru this many times before...you are in the very small minority with this thinking...are you speaking from your own topout spacer experience?

Fist of all it would be nice to see the measurements and pics of all the parts in a 3/2 cornfed spacer lift kit laid out. Topout/Preload/Rear spacers heights shown. There is much confusion on which (CF) parts are UHMW (Plastic) or aluminum, silver or white, weather the rear cones can be retained or not, etc.

Then post your before non lifted measurements...can you get them or do you have a smaller spacer in their now?

For after measurements, I know I like to see that all four corners of the rig have been measured as some people like to list only one side which may be higher or lower than the other by up to 0.5". Some people like to see measurements from the ground through the center of the wheel to the body flare / wheel opening. Others like to see the measureement made from the center of the wheels hub so as to not account for the tire size. I prefer the ground measurement as it is much easier and consistent to take. If you post your tire size we can back out either 0.5" or 1" from that to calc actual lift heiight.

I have that lift from toytec. I got a total of 4 inches of lift in the front and3.5 in the back. I ride those springs and I do not have spacers on my lift. The kit is easy to install and I have 285/70 tires. It rides good as well
 
JA awesome I will follow your instructions! I have my spacer front kit installed so yea we will have to measure with it I guess.



Lifted2005....you need to post some pictures buddy.

i have some pics on here just search for threads that i started that say pics. i am not that computer friendly if I was I would repost them
