Toytec Adjustable Front Coil Over Kit for Bilstein Shocks

Im compelled by this product b/c of the 1 to 3" adjustability but cant find any reviews of the product. So does anyone have any experience with these? :beer:

Quite a few of the members run that set. I have the Toytec 3" non adjustable set and I love it.
I know off hand [MENTION=84680]wadle5[/MENTION] has the Ultimate.

I was looking at this before I bought the 3" lift kit. It would have cost me more than the lift kit with this and piecing it together. I knew from the beginning that I was going to lift my rig 3 inches and not mess with it. I couldn't justify it. It's a good idea if you don't want to fork up full coilovers and the ease of height adjustment without taking it off.

For the $650 price tag of that adjustable 5100 kit, the Bilstein 6112 are only like $100 more and actually offer greater performance (more dampening/ better valving) and more adjustability options at 0", .5", 1.25", 2", 2.5" vs the 5100's 0”, .85”, 1.75”, and 2.5”.

Just the coil/adjustable collar kit. i already have 5100s so im trying not to replace all of what i have now. And was thinking by adding the adjustable collars i could adjust the front end on the fly instead of having to remove everything.

I've looked at that kit several times and I just can't justify the expense. I understand if you are buying the whole thing shocks included, but then as was stated you might as well go to the newer ones that are much better.
My thing is, sure you can adjust them easier, but is it needed? Does that ease of adjustment make it worth $410?? Not to me. Buy lift coils, fj coils, tacoma coils and adjust the perch for the 3" of lift you want.

I have been using these with 5100's for 3 years, 80k miles and everything is going great. I got them for the ease of adjustability as well. Only thing that I didnt like is the adjustable collar is on the bottom instead of the top. The threads and collar will get filled up and covered in road grime and crap. I usually spray them with pb blaster the day before and work the collar back and forth every time I rotate tires or put on the winter wheels/tires.

I only got them because at the time Toytec was backordered on the standard front end suspension kit. In all honesty they are fine, but if you are going to be realistic I can tell you since putting my suspension on I haven't adjusted it once. While it sounds convenient and all and it is moreso than others, it can be kind of a pain to get in there adjust, tighten, retighten just for a little difference in ride and height. I can say though that with over 50k miles I haven't had a problem with my front end, although my back end billies blew out with less than 20k on them. If I was to do it over i would probably do OME.
