Toytec Boss and KO2s installed!

New member
Had the boss and tires installed today. New upper control arms and lower ball joints. Waited incredibly too long for alignment and its still needs adjustment. Oh well, overall pretty happy with final results.

Is there negative rake? Hard to tell on the angled driveway. Love those tires. What size are they and how do they ride? What UCAs did you get? What exactly is the alignment issue?

That picture is kind of deceiving. I still had all 4 old wheels and tires and some other old parts in the rear, and had gravity working against me. Unloaded everything and found some flat ground and was pretty happy with how level she sits.
 
How do you like the ko2s I'm considering switching over to them from coopers at3.
I thought toytec boss was just front coils what was use on the rear?
 
It does look good. I thought it was higher in the front due to the pics. I am looking into putting another lift together for my new 4runner, I like how high the front is, I have 861s and that's why I mentioned them, I thought they would look good too.
 
Looks awesome I love mine! I think you should ditch the running boards and add wheel spacers, would look pretty killer IMO. Also what wheels are those?
 
So I measured this morning and the front is indeed about 3/4 of an inch higher than the rear. Will be adjusting today. Guess I didn't get my full 3 out of rear springs.

Vehicle is pulling just a touch to the right. Should be easy to adjust at the shop.

Went with LR UCAs and went ahead and got new LBJs as well. In the rear I went with OME comfort rides and Toytec 3 in springs.

Love the look of the KO2s, can't hear them at all either. They are 275 70 17s. Wheels are off of 2015 SR5 4runner.
 
Looks good but how could you ditch the 5 stars for the sr5 snowflakes? The 5 stars are some of the best OEM rims ever.

You know what they say about opinions...Think the snowflakes look 10 times better.

So I have a severe vibration at 55+. Called Toytec and said it is most likely a balance problem.. Going to have them rebalanced and alignment checked on Thursday.

The shop I had it done at swears up and down they have had vibration issues with bf goodriches going on fjs, Tacoma's, and 4runners. They even told me this before I ordered them.

Anyone else experienced this?
