Helped me a lot, thanks. This is the setup I'm going with, and I have almost the exact same distance to and from work every day. How much lift did you gain?
Well considering I went from almost stock (had fabtech coilovers up front, but they were not adjusted to provide lift, more for comfort, and all stock in the rear), I gained a noticeable amount of lift. Unfortunately, I did not take actual measurments to be able to tell you the specific gains. But I also added a 1" body lift at the same time so that helped too. Honestly, I think I would have preferred the look better without the body lift, but I am too lazy to take the body lift out now, and it does provide an aggressive look.
Any MPG change? And like the other guy asked, what lift did you gain? If I get it, I'm looking at a 2" lift. Probably 906.
Also op, toytec has the ultimate kit on sale for $875 right now! Normally its 1029.
Yes, I did notice MPG loss, and power loss(from the larger tires). I have a supercharger so I am not sure exactly how much that affects the setup. I use a ScanGuage II to monitor the MPG (not religiously, just like to see the avg) and I was close to 22 mpg before the lift going to work, and now with the lift and bigger tires, I am around 19-20 on a good day.
Again, I wish I took actual measurements to be able to tell you exactly how much I gained, but if you are looking for around 2", do NOT go with the superflex coils as they are closer to 4" in the rear. The coilovers are clearly adjustable so you can play with those to match the 906's or whatever you decide to go with in the rear. I think that from stock, with the suspension lift, plus BL, plus bigger tires...I probably gained close to 5-6" in the rear and 4-5" in the front. Yes I do have a noticable rake right now, but I did not adjust the coilovers when I put them on. I will be putting an aftermarket front bumper on next so when I do, I will raise the coilovers to level out with the rear.
Hope that helps guys, let me know if you have any more questions!
