Toytec Diff Drop

most people (much more educated than me on 4runner suspension) will tell you a diff drop on a 4th gen is not needed unless you are installing something extreme. The CV angles aren't that exteme with a 3/2 lift combo. Look at the 3rd gen CV angles from the factory (or with a mild lift) and this will likely sway you too that it's a waste of money. The 4th gen cv's can easily handle a 3/2 lift without the diff drop. It's your money though...

Or if you already have one/kit came with one I figure it's not gunna hurt. Installation is as: support diff, remove front two diff mount bolts, lower diff enough to slide spacers in, install new longer hardware, torque to spec.

Fat Bob's garage has install instructions on their site but its pretty straightforward.

I installed the the ToyTech Boss kit on my 04 V6 Sport in November and the kit came with instructions on how to install the diff drop spacers. It was very easy. You can also download the instructions from their website.
