just lookin for a quick way to get some air under my truck.
about 2-3"
this kit caught my eye, particularly the price.
is this alright or should i save up some cash and get something bigger and badder?

I ran the same rear coils and a spacer lift on my 97 and it worked, I just installed the front OME coils and shocks and it's a world of difference. some things you may want to consider are:

shocks - factory won't last lifted so your better off getting new ones and installing them while your lifting it.

what load you are going to carry in your vehicle - you'll want the heavier duty coils if you are going to carry gear.

There was a post in the classifieds for a full OME suspension for $500 for a 3rd gen, if it's still there I would highly consider it.

if your like me you want it now, but take your time and try consider your options so you can get what you want the 1st time!

Yeah I do want it now but it's probably best to wait and get the best I can. I'd like a sonoran steel setup but they get pretty pricey..

Get what you can afford now. The Toytec 3" kit comes with the OME coils in the rear....which is a good starting point. Easy to add front coils later when you can afford....same goes for the shocks. Sell the spacers on here or ebay. My experience....if you don't get it now, something will come up later to where you can't get it at all. Some people are different and can stick to thier guns....but, with me, something always comes up...i.e. major service needed, baby's due, tuition's due, post bond, etc. LIFT IT!!!!

I've been on the fence as well. I just recently thru on my BBS 18" Tundra wheels with 265/75R18 and have slight rubbing on incline.

I was either gonna do the spacer lift to start off and do the front coils later or do the OME setup w/ shocks setup from Toytec!
