Toytec springs settling over time?

I just installed the Ultimate kit on my truck and wound up getting around 4" of lift in the front. I've driven it about 150 miles since installation and will be bringing it for an alignment later this week. I wanted less lift, so my plan was to go out tomorrow and crank down the fronts, which haven't settled at all (the superflex coils on the rear already settled an inch, so the nose is now sitting higher).

Does anyone have any experience with the front coils and if they settled at all? My guess is that they don't since they come preloaded, but you never know. It would be a shame for me to bust my hump in tomorrow's heat only to have to crank them back up again in a few weeks (not to mention all the $$$ I'll be shelling out in alignments).

It's almost a sure bet that at least .5" of your 4" total lift, was the result of sagging in your OEM suspension.

As far as settling in the Toytec coilovers is concerned, I can't comment on that, but I'd venture a guess that if there is any settling, it's minimal. Less than .5" I'd bet.

Yeah, I was figuring on that as well, but I was still pretty surprised when I wound up with a full 4" of lift haha.

4" is much too high as you'll cause issues with your CV and ball joints, I'm thinking you should adjust them down an inch. Then after they have settled you can readjust them to your liking.

I completely agree. After I told my wife what my next project is, she was like, "Wait, after all of that, you want to LOWER it now?" with the most baffled expression on her face.
