I've searched and searched but I can't find a build thread for the Toytec Ultimate Lift. I just want to see pictures of the install. Does anyone have a link? Thanks.

Here is paynetrains thread. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/off-roading-home-monst4rs/66026-toytec-3-lift-install.html

My build thread does not include all of the install pics I took, but I have some pics on my computer if there is something specific you are wanting to look at.

I Love the Ultimate lift, Mine is w/ the red coilovers and Icon rear shocks/Toytec rear springs. This thing handles so much better now than before, and I like it much better than my wifes 2005 limited.

? for the experts:

I've already got the Bilstein 5100s with OME rears for a 2.5/1.5 lift.

I'm not happy with the rake and would like the 3" lift up front to level it out a little more.

The toytec lift kit below includes the shocks and wondering if I can just use my existing shocks and somehow order the remaining parts as i'm assuming toytec didn't do any special machining or anything to match their adjustable coilovers with the bilstein 5100 shocks.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have 5100s already in the front with the stock coils (im asuming), you can add a top plate soacer for a full 3". Or you can get ome 885s to go with the 5100s and set the collar at the lowest setting and you will get 3" I believe.

Dr. TRD, yes, I do have the 5100s on stock springs up front. I don't want to add a spacer.

So with the OME 885, is that essentially what Toytec did with their kit? Am I getting a comparable quality setup?

Toytec's adjustable 5100s is basically a 5100 shock with eibach coils with an adjustable collar. Your 5100s are already adjustable to 2.5" Personally I would just add OME 885s and adjust your 5100s accordingly for lift preference. My opinion you are getting a comparable quality for a way cheaper price. This is the setup I plan on running up front and 5100s in the rear with toytec superflex coils.

TRD,

Would this work? It looks like it fits over my existing 5100/stock springs at 2.5" front lift and is not a spacer lift in any way shape or form?

Turn your stock FJ Bilstein shocks into adjustable coil overs! This kit works with silver Bilsteins found on Trail Teams Edition and red Bilstein shocks on the TRD models.

Also fits 5100 series aftermarket front shocks on FJ cruiser 03 & UP 4Runner, 05 & UP Tacoma.

Will not work with factory Bilstein shocks on the 05 & UP Tacoma, or any other factory shock.

Will not work on models not listed above

Front Lift adjustable from 1.5" to 3.5". Comes as pictured with spanner wrenches and sway bar relocates.

NOTE: KDSS suspension vehicles do not use sway bar relocates.

Don't mean to open up an old thread, but I couldn't find a toytec boss lift install thread.
