Toytec Ultimate lift

Just ordered Toytec Ultimate Lift today- can't wait to put it on. My suspension is really crappy to say the least- soggy driving, over bumps feels like an old chevy BOAT! Can anyone PLEASE pass any info over about the suspension kit? Install info would be extremely helpful and any other kind of advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
I have done shocks in my old jeep a few years ago but I have a memory lapse of what to do with the springs or coil over should I say in the front and rear springs. An the adjustment bilst 5100's - never had before and some advice would be helpful.
The lady on the phone from Toytec when I ordered was uber nice and any questions I asked she and others in the shop answered. Should arrive next week, then HOPE to install with my stepson during the week.

I am very sorry for this but I was wondering if you picked your forum name after a water bear? The only animal that can survive the vacuum of space. I learned of the water bear or (****igrade) once along time ago and can't shake it from memory. If you are not familiar with a water bear, google it or look it up on wiki. I am not a geek, but I couldn't resist asking you how you got yer forum name.

ps. I just put a tt ult. lift in my 3rd gen and it was pretty straight forward with toytec directions.

it is pretty straight forward, just take your time, one side/wheel at a time, and make sure you post before and after pix :guitar2:

OH, a tip for ya, depending on where you live (rain and snow) Id start spraying PB Blaster on the stock nuts and bolts, just to help break free the rust, lol

No, I am a scuba diver and wife says big like a grizzly so I figured .... thats the story and I'm stickin to it!

I just got the email from Toytec with install and yep seems pretty straight forward. Thanks for the helpful hints, DEF will PB.

Did anyone change their bushings on your sway bars since we have to take them off? I think some switch to urethane? Worth it?

I'm curious as to figure what size tire I can up to- when the time comes.

Man I wish I could order the Magnaflow exhaust now too but all in good time.

After the lift you should be able to fit 285's under there with some minor trimming/pounding of the pinch weld.

Thanks for the info. Oh yeah I'll be takin lots o pics! I've been researching this for weeks so it's nice to finally start this operation. Should I prep now by removing the mudflaps when I PB? Oh yeah Pinch weld? Where, what?

Im sorry, for some reason I thought you had an older rig, you shouldnt have to worry about the PB Blaster.
The pinch weld is a welded seem behind/the rear the front tires, on the fender, under the wheelwell liner..
Remove or pull back the liner and you will see about a 1/2" seem, just take a hammer and pound that flat. That gives you that much more clearance, heres a quick picture search google:

just google or search "pinchweld trimming" pinchweld pounding etc
