Toytec Ultimate: What can I expect?

So, my Toytec Ultimate kit will be here on Tuesday and I am a little nervous. I am concerned about on-road handling vs. XREAS. I want a stiff ride. Of course, I'm not expecting a sports car, but I hope that it handles at least as well as stock. For those of you that have the same kit, what are you observations/opinions regarding Toytec Ultimate on-road handling vs. the stock setup?

It is a decent kit. If you crank it up its gets pretty firm, a lot of the ride characteristics are going to come from the tires you choose though. If you go E rated mud tires then expect it to be pretty harsh.

I have no complaints or regrets though.

I just finished my Toytec BOSS lift this weekend. Its a little different from the ultimate but probably comparable. its a very nice ride, firm but not overly, nose dive is pretty much gone, bumps are much better and overall its very pleasant to drive.

Just installed mine Friday. Also toytec ultimate. Didn't adjust just left them at preset. Has a little rake but if I feel like it I can get rid of it I guess. Ride is great, both my front shocks were shit already so the ride is amazing compared to stock. Definitely a lot stiffer but in a good way, gonna be getting some 285/70/17 trail grapplers this week, let's see how it changes the feel/ride.

Well, my fears have been allayed. MACOYLE, from this forum, happens to live just a few miles away from me and let me come over to take a look at his truck. He also took me for a drive in it as he has the exact same setup that I am going to install. The Ultimate kit is awesome.

The a Toytec front springs are relatively close to OEM (~30# more) so they match ok to the Bilstein 5100's they are built on. I think you will enjoy the ride quality and control.

Keep in mind he has a front bumper that adds more weight, so the ride will be slightly more harsh i would assume, but not bad.
