Toytech 2.5" lift how tall of a tire can I go?

I have a 2010 with the 2.5" Lift Front Coil Spring Spacer Kit from Toytech, see picture. I have the stock 265-70-17 tires and I looked at the chart and it looks like I can go to 255-75-17 for a little more height. I don't really want to go any wider than the tires already are, but if I have to go wider to go taller I will.

What is the tallest I can go? I don't want the tires to look balloon-ish on there and I want to keep the stock wheels.

I'm going with 255/80 KM2s which are 33.5 inches. Compared to Cooper ST Maxx 255/80 which are 32.8 inches.

The lift really does not do much for clearance issues. You can go as big as you want but the bigger you go the more cutting, trimming and pounding you do. Didn't the chart tell you how big you can go without rubbing? I made the chart and when doing my research it did not matter whether the vehicle was lifted or not really did not matter as far as rubbing at full lock. There are many who fit 285's with no lift and no rub. There are some who are lifted and rub with 275's and have to move the liner. It boils down to your caster setting, wheel spacer use, wheel offset and the like. You have to remember that every single 5th gen 4Runner is different because of tolerances and alignment settings. Basically you need to put them on and if they rub make the mods. Only truly safe size is 265 that anyone can guarantee you there will not be rubbing.

Thank you for the replies. I guess I may have to do some modifications in the wheel well if I want to go taller.

Just sucks how small the height of the stock tires look and I'm probably stuck with them because I don't want to do wheel spacers.

I just did 285/70/17 on my 5th gen. The rubbing for me is not huge, but it's there. Had to cut on the front left and rear right. I may ditch the mug flaps all together and only have to deal with the front liner. I have the 2.5 toytec spacer coming in this week but it's strictly cosmetic.

Fdsa, yeah at most 1/2 inch at full lock. It's super tight and I'm not super happy about it. That's with the mud flap removed. Thats metal you see in the picture
