TPMS for Extra winter wheels and mounted snow tires?

A question for those who use extra rims / mounted snow tires - do you just drive with the TPMS alert on during the winter?

I thought the TPMS computer was limited to 5 TPMS sensors (4 corners and a spare).

4th Gens have 5 TPMS's. I run snows on steels and have a switch to turn out the light. You can also get extra TPMS's with the snows but they will need programming. That's expensive twice a year at the stealer. Some tire shops do this for free but not around here. Ask around before you buy. You can also program it yourself using an ATEQ Quickset.
