TPMS in Spare?

2011 Limited - my mind remembers that the 2011 didn't have one in the spare like later ones. Am I remembering correctly?

my 2012 limited did not have a TPMS in the spare. I confirmed this when I got new rims/tires years ago and did the spare as well. I put a TPMS in the spare but don't use it since the 2012 only has 4 spots in the ECU for TPMS

I have a sensor in my spare in my 4th gen. If/when the spare gets low, it triggers the TPMS ligh and my iDataLink will tell me "spare is low". It's pretty convenient (but I still carry an inflator everywhere anyway)

Thanks. I don't think the 2011 has one either but the idiot light comes on every now and then but the pressures are fine.

Wonder now if one of the sensors is going dead.

One of your sensors, at minimum, is on their way out.
