I was reading different topics on TPS sensor problem and it doesn't sound like mine, so that is why Im opening a new thread.
Code came up a few times and cleared itself a few times over a course of half a year. When code comes up engine sounds more "engry" and becomes a bit louder, but no apperent change in RPM. Today a cleaned connection contacts on maf and tps sensors, cleaned TB and cleaned maf sensor also did the testing with multimeter. Hot wire is 5v signal and ground is 0v. Getting steady voltage from .5v to 3.7v.
And back down from 3.7v to .5v no jumps steady increase and decrease.
According to my obd scanner throttle plate opens only to
about 75%.
Also I unplugged tps and started the runner. Engine check came up right away. Plugged tps back in cleared the code gave it a spin code haven't came back. In both cases engine had same rpms in about 1500 on idle, it dropped it 900rmp in Drive and stalled engine when turned to Park.
Often when I start the engine. It starts and than drops out and stalls right away. Sometimes if I give it a gas before it drops out and stalls it goes back to normal and runs. Had this stalling problem before tps came up. Can be driving around than stop and park and engine stalls instantly once I move the shifter to park. Have no idea what is going on
Some time ago I Cleaned MAF,IAC(checked fro proper readings) ,TB and checked for vacuum leak and found non but stalling problem is still persist I had it for a while. Spark plugs good,wires good,Neutral safety Switch is good,ground wires good, air good, fuel filter should be still good.
Feels like TPS and my stalling problems are not connected, but I might be wrong.
