TRAC - Will not deactivate over a certain speed

I was playing around the other day, hit my TRAC button and nothing happened, was on the road doing about 35mph. Pressed and held it to see if I could shut off TRAC & VSC, still nothing. I slowed and turned onto my street and tried it again, doing about 10mph, worked perfect on/off. I guess the system only allows you to turn it on/off under a certain speed. I read through my manual when I got it (about 11 months ago) but I do not remember seeing a cut off speed for activation or deactivation. Anyone know the speed? I have been out a few time since then but keep forgetting to test and find it.

funny, i was trying the same thing myself recently. i could get TRAC to disable at speed (press button once) but couldn't get TRAC & VSC to disable at speed (hold button down for 3 seconds)... thought i must be doing something wrong and made a mental note to check the manual; never followed through.

sometimes VSC kicks in on a curvy road and scares the bejeezus out of me... never happened with my '06 (on the same road).

same thing happened to me, the way i de-activated permanently stopped and pressed for 3 seconds, fixed

so you always drive with TRAC & VSC off? how's that working out? you must have to turn them off again every time you start the vehicle, though, yes?

i miss spoke or miss wrote you are correct every time you turn the car off it goes back to normal what i meant was for that drive or when you want it de activated thats what you do, stop press it for 3 seconds, other wise if just press it it de-activates but around 30 miles mph it goes back again, does this make sense
