Traction lights, VSC and ABS lights came all on.

I have a 2007 Toyota 4runner SR5 4x4 V6.

After the last Offroading trip,with lots of water fording and bouncing of rocks and trees when I got home all the traction lights, VSC and ABS lights came on.

They turn on and off randomly (all of them together). In the morning they will be on and will turn off after 1-2 minutes of driving and will come back on in a little while.

And couple of times I have noticed that I will start braking (Normal breaking) and the pedal will will mushy for a second and instantly the ABS will kick in and jerk the car to a stop, under normal breaking, dry pavement. this has only happened 2-3 times.


It seems like there is a lose electrical connection some where.
I will appreciate any and all help.

Sounds like you knocked a sensor. Run a diagnostic

The Clicking ABS noise does happen ONLY when the warning lights are NOT on.. once the warning light come on the clicking noise goes away..I am guessing because the ABS gets deactivated.

I ran a basic OBDII diagnostic (that connects to my cell phone) and it came up with nothing.

Never used a phone connected one, but try a different one. A knocked ABS sensor would show. Anything on those dash lights would show on a diagnostic. And it's too many lights on to be a faulty light
