trade in 4runner for sienna ltd. awd?

My '06 Runner and my wife's '07 Sienna co-exist quite nicely in my driveway. Day-to-day, I love my runner, but if we are taking a road-trip of 3+ hrs, we ALWAYS jump in the Sienna. Much more room and more comfortable. Last Christmas, our FWD did just fine in the East Coast Blizzard. No slipping, no sliding.

We've been driving 4Runners since 03 with our 96 and the last two with our 04. In 03 we had our first daughter. 2 years after our second daughter came around. Now at 5 and 7 years old we've gone through a lot of stages, from strollers, baby seats, diaper bags, grocery shopping trips, 14 hour drives to Vancouver etc etc. to now just booster seats. With the 4 of us on board and all our gear (depending on what we're doing at the time) and we've never been in the position where we thought we'd like more room or couldn't make things work.
We deal with a fairly long winter in my area so the winter capabilities were a big shopping item for us when we originally though 4Runner. Now there's no way we'd go anywhere different for our family hauler. My wife never drove winters before we got the 04, now she won't drive anything else.

I'd sure like to know the basis for this opinion - NO, WAIT, I really don't, because while FWD and AWD may be different, this comment is all wet.
Wife is on her 2nd CRV - this is AWD, right? We do get snow here, and I have taken her CRV out in 9" of fresh snow and tried to get it stuck, and it performs flawlessly. For a woman's car, FWD / AWD is perfect imo.
As to the minivan: You realize you've probably asked the wrong crowd. You haven't said how many kidlets you have, or who drives the kids around in it.
Unless you're having "man issues", I'd submit there's probably no better all-around family vehicle than a van - especially the top-rated Sienna.
If this is the mom-mobile, I suggest you apply "if Mommy's happy ..... etc".
