Trade stock for AEM

Found a person in town that wants to trade out the AEM Cai on their 99 tacoma for a stock intake because they are selling the truck. Sounds like it'd be a straight trade, and the part number match up for the two vehicles. What's everyones opinion? worth it, or do you think i"ll run into problems with it?

Also how does it affect my MAF?

Ya dude if everything fits up correctly which it should then id go for it... Well that is if u dont plan on crossing any deep water or creeks or that kind. If ur rig stays away from water then sounds like a good deal to me!

I would trade him. I have the aem intake on my 4runner and I love it. Gives a great tone and I have noticed a 1 mpg gain

Compared to the stocl airbox with a deckplate mod, its not as good in terms of fuel economy or power,but it'll sound cooler.
