Trail Damage Photo's

Didn't see another thread on this so I fiqured I'd start one (unless I'm blind and missed it).

So post up your trail damage photos'

From today, all thanks to a Juniper tree and a slippery slop.

I've been lucky and only a few things are visible but mostly a few scuffs and scrapes here and there.

Eventually this splash shield was tore off.

Dinked a rock while climbing an obstacle that a few Jeep guys were debating my truck would even make it after a couple of mildy lifted Jeeps struggled on.

snagged a stiff tree branch but fortunatly a friend saw it walked up and pulled the brach away before it continued to "sign" it's autograph on my truck and thankfully it didn't hit the window.

A good reason why I'm glad I don't have a painted valence like the Limiteds or later Sport models.

lower ball joint broke, which caused the upper to break, cv, brake line, ABS line, etc...

Tried a hill that I hadn't tried before that has two steps at the top and couldn't make it due to the slickness of the trail. Started to back down and started to go sideways off the trail. Slid about 100' down the trail taking out the said tree and almost rolling my 4runner.

The said hill (I'm not happy about the damage I did :redbrick:to the trees)

There are two trees to the right-hand side of the photo that I barely missed taking out and you can see the tree that did the damage.

i had just escaped a near rollover on a snowy hill and the only thing between me and the road was a snow filled ditch, so i gunned it through, came down hard on my trailer hitch and bent the whole bumper and hitch into the tailgate

these are just a couple. there have also been..........countless broken cv's, couple u-joints, bent links, 3 gas tanks, 2 front r&p, 1 rear r&p, fenders, air bags, windshield, taillights, corner lights, brush guard, stock front and rear bumpers, bug shield, fender flares, and of coarse the strategically placed dents in the body. i even ripped the passenger side slider off the frame once :shrug:

thats basicly what happend to the tank. the rear hatch was a REALLY bad ditch. thats what also took out my airbags and windshield.
