Trail Edition Cargo Tray

I'm considering purchasing a 2011 or 2012 Trail Edition. While I was at one of the local dealerships in Tucson, the salesman told me they stopped making the cargo tray for the Trail Edition. I could not confirm this change on the Toyota website. I'm not fond of the cargo tray, so I was wondering if anyone knows about 2011 Trail Editions without cargo trays?

I just bought a TE this week with a Cargo tray and the ones they found in the system all had the cargo tray.

The cargo tray was cool for about 10 minutes...It may be good for some, and not good for others, like me. I will be uninstalling it in a cooler month.

this was standard in the TE on the 2010 and 2011 models, check the brochure for the 2012 to be sure.

I actually use mine, it's a bit gimicky, but it's great for tailgating, unloading heavy stuff, and changing the baby!

Head up to Power Toyota in Mesa to purchase it, no B.S. "$1K desert protection plans" and they do invoice pricing...these (2) dealers here in town are a joke. Just put an internet inquiry in to get things started...good luck.

It looks like if you go to toyota.com and build a TE that the pictures don't reflect a cargo tray. I believe before I bought mine that the pictures showed the tray, but I could be wrong.

I like it to set my 4yo daughter on to clean the beach sand off her feet/legs. sand goes on the ground instead of the backseat, mostly,

Thanks for the comments. I just picked up a Mag Gray TE in Phoenix yesterday. Accidently visited on the last day of the month and they had exactly what I wanted on the lot.

I just wish the tray was the whole depth and area, not just most of it. I carry a gym bag of my off road tools that when pushed to the 2nd row seat back is half on and half off the tray. making it difficult to push back in. that wasted 6" area is a pain.

I wanted a TE with just KDSS. All the ones I've seen in Tucson came with running boards and a bunch of accessories I didn't want to buy. Mine has KDSS, tinted windows, and floor mats and nothing else. Picked it up for $37,500.
