I can't find the article but there is a class action lawsuit against a bunch of dealers in the States initiated by a Newfoundland couple claiming discrimination. It said that the dealers wouldn't sell to them because they were Canadian lol.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a used 2010 Trail Edition .. hoping someone here might tell me if they think it's a good deal. These are currently practically impossible to find in Canada, so I'm anxious to pull the trigger, but at the same time don't want to let the excitement get the best of me. Perhaps someone with a cool head might tell me what they think:

Seems a touch high. I see there is a private sale 2010 TE in Calgary with 120k for $25.

Thanks for the input. I had actually pursued that one(black TE 24.900) however it sold to US buyer before I pulled the trigger. Seems the guy can't be bothered to take his post down.
Hence, the one I have a shot at right now is tempting, as there are currently no TE's on the market in Canada below $35,000 ...

Your right there isn't a whole lot out there. Although it doesn't help you out, I'm glad to see these things are in demand and seem to really hold their value. I've seen them used with 20-40k km in the ~$40,000 range.
You can set kijij to send you alerts, which might help with search.

I'm looking at a 2016 trail edition here in Nova Scotia, at o'regans. They are a huge dealership, sell 17 different brands (from bmw/Mercedes down to a Kia)
Figure they should give me the best deal as they likely work on volume.
You got your 4Runner in January, when sales are super slow. I'll let you know what the salesman comes back with for a price. I gave him all the unhaggle numbers.
