are these so rare, i went to my dealer, and tried to get them to dealer trade, and most other dealers wont let them go. all to the point that i was told its easier to order one than to try to steal from another dealer. My dealer has ordered one, wont be here until january, which sucks... :tsk:

I believe it. If you want one NOW, and have the $$....bust make the journey to a dealership that has one? I know guys that have crossed multiple states for the car they want.

I actually put down a deposit and ordered mine through the dealership from the factory. Took just over one month, but that's not bad if you say it fast... They (2014 Trail Preimums) are close to impossible to find on lots right now.

ok, guess patience is not one of my virtues.

I started with a used 4 runner, on 2010, that just gave me problems (leaky transfer case, sunroof issues, then went to a FJ TT, that i was never really satisfied. So coming back, but i want a white T. P. that i have been given a Vin number, and start manufacture date of 11/26/13. Im guessing not much haggle to do there once it comes. Since its like getting hens teeth made for me. :tape:

have not put a DP, but i was assured no one will drive it. Ive done 5 cars with them in the last 4 years, and they know me pretty well. So I guess i just will wait. once it comes ill enjoy.

Cant wait to take the ugly running boards and slap some rock rails...

^^this^^ I live in Virginia, closest TE Premium I could find in black with KDSS was in Massachusetts... placed the deposit, booked my flight, 8hr drive back... def worth it

must be a regional thing. Here in Florida every TE that I have seen has been premium. There are 3 on the local lots now

All we could find on the lots were black TE as well. Picking this up tomorrow morn!! :)
Got a good deal in Dothan, AL and no one else could match the price.

well as of today, there is only 86 TEP across the us. the next model that is even close is the TE at 300 units.

Black : 15
Blue : 7
Grey : 10
Red : 13
Silver : 23
White : 18

I ran into a similar situation in the Portland, OR area. No white 2014 TE or TE premiums anywhere in the area. The dealer that I worked with was able to locate one in Seattle and was able to do a swap otherwise I was looking at a 3 week wait.

The dealer I bought my Trail Premium from had no 2014s on the lot. Salesman found what I wanted 140 miles away but didn't think he could get it because he had nothing to trade. The other dealer "gave' him the car without a trade. Apparently 4X4s are not big sellers in South Florida. The other dealer didn't think he would be able to sell it. I got it for a very good price.

Holiday and Orlando have plenty of them.... just a timing thing I guess

Weird question, but what's the difference between trail and trail premium?

From what I found, the Premium has the Moon Roof & Heated Seats as "standard", along with EnTunes. KDSS is still "optional" on both Trail & Trail Premium. Looks like they basically "cheapened" what was the "standard" Trail Edition to exclude some of the "luxury" features. Otherwise they are pretty much identical.

yeah, same cars, except creature comforts. But i want those comforts, because resale value will be higher.... if i ever decide to sell

Ill wait for mine, since its on its way. no reason to travel since im trading two cars..

When I purchased my Mag Grey Trail Premium the dealer had 5 trail's, but only 1 Trail Premium. Luckily it was a color I liked! Right away took off the stock dunlops and added BFG all terrains (same size as stock 265-70-17).
