Trail Roof Rack Cover Clip

I wanted to take off my factory cross bars and the first cover came off way to easy, just kind of came off, the other one required the directions and came off easy with a screw driver to gently pry. I then noticed that the one that came off easy, didn't have a clip to help keep the cover on.

I called the dealer and they did not see the part, recommended I come in. Can anyone help me identify the part number or how I can get one? Here is a picture.

??? I didn't take that part apart when I pulled my rack off.

Unfortunately I'm sure those clips are part of the rack and don't actually have a part number.

Those covers come off when you install the cargo loops on the outside of the roof rail. Ryan_S is correct, that clip is part of the roof rail and you will need to take it back to the dealer and demand they replace it.

Unfortunately, I didn't buy my trail locally, but will start at going to the local toyota and see if they can help. If that doesn't work, then I will try to call the dealership I bought it from.

If all else fails a little clear silicone will hold that cover back on. Might be easier than spending hours trying to get the dealer to find that part.

I actually stopped by the dealer and they were able to track a new clip down free of charge.....of course I don't actually have it yet.
