Trailer brake wiring

I have the 2005, so I am assuming that the wiring is the same. When I asked this same question, here is the answer I got from the forum, which checked out right when I called Tekonsha and asked them--don't know if different brake controllers have different wiring?
OK:
Prodigy color -> 4 runner adapter harness color
black to black (battery +)
red to green/yellow (brake light)
white to white/black (ground)
blue to yellow (brake light)
The 5th wire (green) in the 4runner harness is unused (tail light). Just cut it short and insulate the end.

2007 Trailer Wiring
I just purchased a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5 which I needed to pull my 2002 Coleman Cheyenne.
While I knew I needed the trailer package I was concerned how difficult it would be to install the Brake controller. Looking through these posts I could not find any posts about this subject. After installing it I know why, it is a piece of cake.
The connector for the trailer wiring was right next to the driver side kick panel. I have a prodigy brake controller. Instead of splicing I bought the Toyota- Prodigy harness. Simple install, snap in the connector, place the controller bracket above my right leg on the lower dash and tie wrap the cable.
Plugged in the trailer and every thing worked first time. Took about 20 minutes because I was being extra cautious.

Does the factory 7 pin harness on an 04 4runner Sport have a keyed 12v power supply from the battery back to the plug? Pulling a light camper and want to add a couple deep cycle marine batteries to it for when not on campground power. Curious if there is existing power supply to the plug or if I need to run one. Looks like it gets run to pin 4 if I have to do it myself. Thank you in advance.
