Ok so you guys are far more knowledgable than I. For those that trailer a boat or anything like I do, can you explain why in the world the trailer light ports are a foot and a half underneath the rear of the 4R facing the the corner of the bumper instead of next to the hitch like my son's Lexus GX460 (as shown here)? I mean WTF? My fix was a short wiring harness to create a port near the hitch where the port should have been.
