Trailer wiring question which harness?

Decided to get a round tube Curt class 3 hitch for my 01' but see 2 different wiring harnesses available. Can anyone decipher and possibly explain the difference? Thank you

I bought the splicing type from U-haul. and dont want to install it.
would rather get the plug an play for my 00.

sorry no help on which one, but I will be watching the thread to find out.

It looks like one is universal - you cut the wires and figure it out, and the other is a plug-and-play model for the 4Runner (1JA 364136).
