trannsmision questions?

I have a 91 4Runner, 3.0L V6, 4x4, Auto, and want to put a tranny cooler and do a filter change.
On the cooler lines to the rad is the drivers or passangers side the return line?

When I pull the pan on the tranny is there a band adjustment I can do? If so where is the band adjusment done from? what Lbs or inlbs and back off is the adjustment?

Is there anything else I should know or watch for when doing these
Anyone have a good route for the cooler lines.

Still no bites on this.
I guess I will pull the pan anyway and replace the filterand gasket then do a quick tranny line pull at the rad. (started briefly) This way I can see which hose the fluid comes out. than run my lines accordingly to my new cooler.
