Tranny Cooler

Well after reading about the pink milkshake issues and seeing as how I have no idea when me radiator was replaced, if at all, i'm looking into a tranny cooler and possibly a new radiator.

the question is.......How difficult is a tranny cooler install? How much harder is it to add a filter to that as well?

If you can change your oil you can install a cooler.

I do the same. The filter isn't much more. If you do a spin on you'll have to mount it and then run the lines to and from it. If you do an inline, well, it doesn't get any easier.

i'm thinking of doing a spin on. I've seen the filter kit and cooler for about $80 total and that doesn't seem like a bad option to me.

any suggestions on which ones I should look at? so far i've looked and b&m and tru-cool

I have the B&M 70268 with a Magnefine inline filter. You're in Oregon which is pretty cool most of the time right? I think the 268 would work well for you. If you live in a hotter area or tow you might want the 264.
