Tranny fluid in the air system???

I am trying to figure out what my problem is with my 94 v6 4runner. there is the plastic air tube that comes off the butterfly valve on the intake, it Y's and the upper part goes to the air cleaner box and the lower part goes to another box beside the air cleaner that has a vaccum line coming off of it. the lower part looks to be full of tranny fluid! what is going on? when i turn the AC on it smokes very bad out of the exhaust. any idea where the fluid is coming from or what might be causing it?

It sounds like a stuck EGR valve. But trannie fluid? Maybe the trans has been overfilled and its coughing up the extra from the breather. This is a new one.

well even if it is the EGR valve, how would the air tube get tranny fluid in it? im think the EGR valve is on the other side of motor. i am baffled

Without seeing it for myself I can't go any further. This is your second post on this same problem and I know there are others on this sight who have the same setup but no one seems interested in helping. I don't know where you are but I would take it to a mechanic in your area. I can't help you without seeing it in person. Good luck.
