Tranny fluid line broke

if the tranny fluid line broke that goes through the radiator, would you be worried about the tranny life? supposedly the line broke in a radiator and caused the tranny fluid to mix with the coolant. my gut says jiffy lube flushed the tranny with coolant.... would that totally f*ck a tranny.

Very unlikely it Jiffy Lube's fault, it's a well documented problem. Search "strawberry milkshake" or "pink milkshake" for all the details you need. Chances of saving tranny are ~50/50.

it was earlier this year and the tranny was flushed, so far no issues. so is it possible that disaster was avoided, or will this just shorten the life of the tranny? (i did search)

It may or may not affect the life of the tranny. Depends on how long you drove it with coolant in there, how good they flushed it, and pure dumb luck. I still say it's ~ a 50/50. If it's good still, then it will probably be ok, but you just can't know for sure. But I guess that's the case with all cars.
