Tranny Pan Leak...

First post. Have a 2001 Limted Auto. Noticed what I thought was engine oil spot on the floor yesterday. After a look underneath, I now think I have a leak on the front passenger corner of the tranny pan. The tranny was replaced (used or rebuilt, I don't know) about 30k ago.
Should I attempt to tighten the few bolts that look 'wet' or plan on dropping the whole pan and resealing?
I can see what I think must be red sealant around the bolt heads.

I'd drop the pan, replace the filter, and replace the gasket. Cheap and easy. Also check your valve cover gaskets.

FYI Autozone has a gasket that goes on to the tranny pan so you don't have to mess with the FIPG stuff. I think it was only around $6 too. First try snugging up the bolts to the correct torque in case they've loosened.

Also if you do end up pulling the pan might as well replace the filter if you're up there in mileage. I would suggest spending the money on an OEM, that's one of those parts you don't get to too often.
