So i have a 02 sr5 with center diff lock and i'm replacing my T-case due to the actuator failing. does anyone have a link to a write up on removing the t-case from a auto trans? can i just unbolt the t-case for the trans without removing both from the vehicle?
while your hear can anyone come up with the answer to this... My buddy forced my 4wd lever down into 4low while the vehicle was in PARK! ever sense then the vehicle does not disengage from 4wd. iv got it to come out a few times by doing circles in gravel. we have replaced the front diff actuator, the famous sensors on the actuator and nothing! still have a horrible time getting it out, sense i have replaced the sensors (which didn't even test bad) it has been stuck in 4wd and have had no luck getting it out! we have come to the conclusion the actuator on the case is the problem and we were just getting lucky it kicked out the 5 times it did any comments would be much appreciated! thanks
