Transmission and TCase Model Types, which ones do I have?

Hello All,

I'm trying to determine which model tranny and t-case I have on my 2000 T4R SR5 4x4 5speed manual. Ive read some great articles on the differences between the various t-cases throughout the 3rd gen lifecycle but no reference to model numbers.

I'm certain I have the R150F over the W59 but if I'm wrong please let me know.

As far as the T-Case the FSM lists the VF2A and VF3AM and I'm not sure which one I have or how to determine it without calling Toyota and providing them my VIN which I would assume should bring up the info.

I'm now certain I have a VF2A transfer case since the "VF3AM transfer is a multi-mode 4WD transfer that offers the advantages of a part-time 4WD that switches between 4WD and 2WD mode as necessary" Correct me if I'm wrong but the multimode feature was only available in automatics hence my conclusion above :faint:
