Transmission Breather?

I know about the breathers on the front/rear diffs and the transfer case, but I have heard people mention a breather for the transmission. Does the 4th gen have a separate transmission breather? Is it tied into the transfer case breather? I assume it does not breathe through the dipstick, since that has an o-ring seal.

Tranny Breather

Try looking at the top underneath the center console area. That is where it is on my 5spd. You might only get access to it through the center console as the 5spd are tucked up inside the shifter boot.

I have the 2003 V8. No tranny breather (looked at factory manual), so it must be in the filler tube on mine. Also the transfer case breather just sits on top of it. Just the front diff has the breather tube.
