Transmission Cooler / Heater?

I know my Tundra has a transmission cooler and heater for faster warm up. Does the 4R have this? I can't find the data anywhere.

Thanks :-)

I haven't looked at a schematic for the T4R but it does have some way to warm the trans based on my experience. I was curious and paid close attention to the cooler line temp during warm-up. Like most new vehicles it seems to bypass the cooler lines until some predetermined temp and then the fluid begins to flow through the cooler lines.

So it doesn't really have a "heater" but it has a mechanism by which to get the fluid up to operating temp in the cold weather.

That is exactly what I wanted to know. Thank You!!!

The V8 has an external transmission cooler in addition to the one inside the radiator (which is only what the V6 has).
