Transmission Cooler question

Does anyone know how the transmission cooler in the V8 is attached? (Does is bolt on?)

If the same transmission cooler is added to a V6 4Runner, can it be mounted in the same way?

And does it bypass the transmission cooler that's inside the radiator, or does it work with the internal cooler?

I have a V-6 and I was going to add the V-8 cooler but the dealer wanted big $$$ so I picked up a large Haden cooler and if im not mistaken ithe fluid goes threw the radiator first then threw the cooler.

I can't tell you what the trans temp is out of the cooler but if you place your hand on the top of the cooler after a good drive it's quite hot and if you move your hand to the lower part of the cooler it's quite cooler.
