transmission down shift & engine braking

I traded my 2003 t4r v8 with 175,000 miles for a 2007 t4r with 40,000 miles, on deceleration there seems to be alot of engine braking. I did not have this on my 2003, does anybody else have this problem.

Sounds like the intelligent transmission is calibrated differently in the new truck based on the driving habits of the previous owner. Give it time to adjust to your driving and see what happens. You can disconnect the battery to let it reset if you wish.
